About us

We think the inflatable industry deserves a serious institution.

Bounce houses show up at millions of birthdays, school fairs, church events, and festivals every year. The people behind them — rental operators, manufacturers, event producers — do demanding physical work with real safety responsibilities, and most of them do it brilliantly. The Bounce House Association exists to recognize that work, verify it, and help the public understand it.

Independent

Recognition here is earned through documented practice — inspections, insurance, training — not bought. Nobody can purchase an award or a badge.

Operator-first

We exist for the people running the business: small family operators, weekend festival crews, and large event companies alike. Membership is open to all of them.

Public-minded

Our knowledge base is free to everyone. The more customers understand about quality and safety, the better the whole industry becomes.

What we do

  • Run the annual Bounce House Association Awards, chosen from public nominations and reviewed by a member committee.
  • Maintain certification badges for safety, insurance, and cleanliness — each verified on application and re-verified annually.
  • Publish a public member directory so families and event planners can find verified operators.
  • Write free educational guides about what bounce houses are, how they're made, and how the industry grew.

Talk to us
